Japanese artist and choreographer Hiroaki Umeda is also the founder of the S20 studio. Trained as a photographer, he creates interactive and immersive installations and performances, combining dance and projections. His multimedia compositions are characterized by a visual approach rich in optical illusion effects and minimalist textures. For Hiroaki Umeda, light is an element that contributes to choreography. In his pieces, the projection is a real character dancing on stage.
