EPISODE 18 - ZOOM ON THE EVENT: 1MINUTE PROJECTION MAPPING

An international video mapping competition, 1minute Projection Mapping Japan is the brainchild of Michiyuki Ishita. As artistic director and production manager, he brings his own artistic vision and sensibility to bear on the running of this unique event. The short format of the mapping featured in this event allows a large number of artists, both more and less experienced, to take part in the festival. 1minute Projection Mapping also stands out for the attention it gives to artists already in the application phase: the official selection is made following a screening of all the pre-selected projects, and the festival undertakes to send artists images of their mapping even if they have not been selected for the official competition.
