EPISODE 19 - Portrait of: David-Alexandre Chanel

David-Alexandre Chanel is an artist, engineer and entrepreneur. His interest in interactivity and real-time mapping began with Théoriz, the creative studio he founded in 2013. Realizing the lack of technologies dedicated to multi-user interaction, David-Alexandre Chanel subsequently developed Augmenta, a real-time tracking device. Based on the use of cameras, it is a lightweight tool that can be deployed on different scales and in different types of spaces, both in museums and in immersive video games. In Théoriz's work, mapping transforms objects into interactive interfaces.
